Octopi are great fun at parties, but sometimes they can be real know-it-alls. They're stupendous at crossword puzzles and trivial pursuit.  They make great friends but terrible pets. 

If you keep an octopus in a fishtank it will sneak out in the middle of the night for a snack.  They have eight arms and three hearts to love you with.

Each octopus is knit by hand at a worker-owned cooperative in Ecuador.  They are made of 100% Peruvian wool.  Because they're handmade, each one is a little bit different.  They're about 15 inches tall from head to toe.  Because the eyes might come off with rough play, these toys are not intended for children under three.
